Founder Partner and CEO of GERENS CAPITAL S.A., a Venture Capital company, which currently manages Precursor Fund, a US$ 18 million VC fund for start-ups, small and medium businesses and the real-state fund Jardines de la Estación.

Author of several articles published in national and international media, he was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Iquique Port Company and a member of the Board of Directors of INVIA S.A., a real estate subsidiary of the Public Railroad Company (EFE). He has also served as Vice-Chairman of EMPORCHI (former Public Port Company) and as a Member of the Board of Directors of ZOFRI S.A. He has also been a World Bank economist (Young Professional Program) in the International Finance Division (1989-1991) and advisor to the Minister of Finance in macroeconomics, domestic and international finance issues (1991-1994).

Fields of expertise: Macroeconomics, Financial Sector and Capital Market, Telecom, Ports and Oil industries and Real State sector. At the moment he serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of San Antonio Port Company.
